Narappa to release in theatres for Venkatesh's birthday

The film is a remake of Tamil film Asuran, that starred Dhanush in the lead role

Narappa, the 2021 period action drama, which starred actor Venkatesh Daggubati in the lead role, is set to release in theatres on December 13, for the occasion of the actor’s birthday. The film had skipped theatrical run during the time of its release and had premiered directly on Prime Video last year.

The film is a remake of Tamil film Asuran, that starred Dhanush in the lead role.

Narappa is directed by Srikanth Addala and had skipped theatrical release due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Suresh Productions will be releasing the film in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Narappa was backed by D Suresh Babu, Kalaippuli S Thanu, and Prime Video under the banners of Suresh Productions and V Creations.

Priyamani played Venkatesh’s wife in the movie for which cinematography was by Sam K Naidu, while Mani Sharma scored the music. Editing was done by Marthand K Venkatesh.
