Actor-writer Anand Ravi's upcoming rustic drama Korameenu is set to be released in theatres on December 31, the makers announced on Monday.

"Korameenu will release on the eve of New Year. The teaser released recently received applause from all quarters and has also increased the expectations for the film. We are confident that the story and the characters will connect well with the masses and youth," says Anand Ravi.

Set in Jalaripeta, Korameenu tells the story of egos between three characters -- a happy-go-lucky driver, his arrogant master, and an agitated cop.

The makers also released a romantic song, Telisindi Ley, on Monday. Composed by Anantha Narayanan AG, the song was rendered by Parvathy AG and written by Lakshmi Priyanka.

Also starring Harish Uthaman, Shatru, Kishore Dhatrak, Raja Raveendra, Giridhar, Jabardasth Emmanuel, Indu Kusuma, Prasanna Kumar, and RK Naidu, Korameenu is directed by Sripathy Karri. The film is being produced by Full Bottle Entertainments.
