In a pleasant surprise for Prabhas fans, the makers of Salaar will be making an announcement regarding the film on social media on Monday, for the occasion of Independence Day.

The announcement will be made at 12.58 pm.

Salaar is helmed by KGF makers. It is produced by Hombale Films, with Prashanth Neel directing the film. The film also stars Shruthi Haasan and Jagapathi Babu. In addition, Prabhas had also hinted that Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is also part is also part of Salaar, which is expected to be a two-part film. It is to be noted that it will be the first time Prabhas and Prithviraj will be appearing together onscreen.

The film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda and music composed by Ravi Basrur. Speculations are also rife that Yash of KGF fame will be playing a cameo role in Prabhas' upcoming film Salaar.

Meanwhile, Prabhas who was last seen in Radhe Shyam is also working for Project K under Nag Ashwin’s directorial.
