Producer Bellamkonda Suresh's youngest son Ganesh is turning the lead actor with Swathi Muthyam. Directed by debutant Lakshman K Krishna, the film is all about celebrating life, love and the evolving thoughts about marriage. Interestingly, this Ganesh-starrer borrowed its title from Kamal Haasan's yesteryear blockbuster Swathi Muthyam

The first look and title of the film were released by the makers on Tuesday coinciding with Ganesh's birthday.

"The film tells the story of a young man, who is innocent and pure at heart on the lines of Kamal's character in Swathi Muthyam. It also explores these aspects — family togetherness, relationships, love and emotions. The film will make you laugh and cry, as well," says Lakshman K Krishna, adding, "We managed to shoot all major portions of the film and the entire shooting will be completed soon."

Also featuring Varsha Bollamma as the female lead, Swathi Muthyam is being bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments.

The film also has Naresh VK, Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Vennela Kishore and Goparaju Ramana in supporting roles. Music of the film is by Mahati Swara Sagar.
