We had previously reported that Samantha will be appearing in a special dance number in the Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise. The song, which premiered on Friday evening on YouTube, is now reportedly the most-viewed South Indian song in 24 hours.

The film's official Twitter account shared the news while revealing a new poster featuring Samantha. The song has gained over 14 million views in a span of 24 hours and the number currently stands at 15.6 million. The video has also garnered over 700k likes ever since its premiere.

Sung by Indravathi Chauhan, the number features lyrics by Chadrabose, while Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. It marks the second collaboration between Samantha and filmmaker Sukumar after Rangasthalam, the director's previous film. Likewise, Allu Arjun and Samantha have earlier shared screen space in S/O Satyamurthy.

The foot-tapping number has been rendered by Andreah Jeremiah, Ramya Nambeesan, and Mangli in the Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions.

Also starring Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Sunil, and Dhananjay, Pushpa: The Rise, is the first of a planned duology, and is set to release on December 17.
