Nagarjuna's Bangarraju launched

Also starring Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Shetty, the film is being helmed by Kalyan Krishna

Bangarraju, the sequel to Nagarjuna Akkineni's 2016 supernatural drama, Soggade Chinni Nayana, was launched earlier today in Hyderabad. Kalyan Krishna, who directed the first part, is directing the sequel too. The film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Kriti Shetty in the lead.

The muhurat was attended by the cast and crew of the film along with members from Nagarjuna's family. The principal photography will commence in the last week of August and the makers are aiming to wrap up the entire proceedings by November to ensure a summer release.

Anup Rubens is on board as the music composer, while Satyanand is providing the story and screenplay for the film. Set in the backdrop of Rajahmundry, the film will pick up from where the first part is ended. Bangarraju also features Ramya Krishnan and Monal Gajjar in crucial roles.
