The second single from Naane Varuvean, Rendu Raaja, was released by the makers on social media on Saturday. The makers previously released the first single Veera Soora, which received positive reception. 

Naane Varuvean is set to hit the screens on September 29. Rendu Raaja is written by Dhanush, and song by the actor along with Yuvan Shankar Raja, who scored the film's music as well.

Directed by Selvaraghavan, the film also features Elli Avrram, Indhuja and Selvaraghavan. The film marks the collaboration between the brothers, Dhanush and Selvaraghavan, after Mayakkam Enna in 2011. 

Naane Varuvean is expected to be a pyschological thriller, with Dhanush essaying dual characters with each one having a different shade.
