We had earlier reported about Comali director Pradeep Ranganathan turning lead actor with his sophomore film, Love Today. Its trailer has just been released and it promises a twisted tale of romance. Naachiyar-fame Ivana is paired with Pradeep in the film. The cast also includes Sathyaraj, Yogi Babu, Raveena, Vijay Varadaraj, Adithya Kathir, and Radikaa Sarathkumar.

Love Today is an extension of Pradeep's short film, Appa Lock. The film's conflict begins when Sathyaraj, who plays Ivana's father, challenges the couple to exchange their phones for a day.

With Archana Kalpathi as a creative producer, the romantic comedy is produced by Kalpathi S. Aghoram, Kalpathi S Ganesh, and Kalpathi S Suresh under the banner of AGS Entertainment. The film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is set for November 4 release.
