Atharvaa's Pattathu Arasan trailer promises a lot of Kabaddi and action

The trailer of Atharvaa-starrer Pattathu Arasan got released on Friday. The film is billed as an action entertainer with a sports backdrop. The premise is set in a village with a Kabaddi history. Rajkiran plays a veteran Kabaddi player in the film. The female lead Ashika Ranganath also seems to be essaying the role of a Kabaddi player.

Pattathu Arasan is helmed by director Sarkunam, who has earlier made films like KalavaniVaagai Sooda Vaa, and Naiyaandi. The upcoming film marks the second time reunion of Sarkunam and Atharvaa, after working together in Chandi Veeran in 2015.

Pattathu Arasan also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar, RK Suresh, Raj Ayyappa, Bala Saravanan, and Shatru in pivotal roles. The film has music by Ghibran and cinematography by Loganathan Srinivasan. Mohammed Raja is handling the edits. Backed by Lyca Productions, the film is confirmed to hit screens on November 25.

Atharvaa, last seen in Trigger, has Nirangal Moondru coming up next. The Karthick Naren directorial also stars Sarathkumar and Rahman as the leads.
