The first single from Udhayanidhi Stalin Kalaga Thalaivan, Hey Puyale, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday.

Sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Sathyaprakash, the song is penned by Karky. The makers released the lyrical video of the melodious romantic number.

Written and directed by filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni, Kalaga Thalaivan is expected to hit theatres on 18 November. The official confirmation regarding the same will be made during the audio launch tomorrow.

With the shooting for the film having wrapped up a couple of months ago, the film crew has been busy with the post-production work. While it was earlier speculated the film could be a political thriller, director Magizh Thirumeni has come out clarifying that Kalaga Thalaivan is an action thriller.

Director Thirumeni is best known for films like Thadam, Meagamann, and Thadayara Thakka. While Eeswaran fame Nidhhi Agerwal plays the female lead opposite Udhayanidhi Stalin, the cast of the film also includes Kalaiayarasan and Bigg Boss fame Arav. Srikanth Deva along with Pisasu fame Arrol Corelli composed the music for the film.
