We had previously reported that actor Vaibhav will be headline a film titled Buffoon. The makers of the film have now unveiled the film's first teaser. The teaser hints at a intriguing thriller set in the world of violence and gangsters.

Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj is presenting the film through his production house Stonebench films. The film is directed by Ashok Veerappan. Anagaha, who plays the female lead in the film, makes a brief appearance in the teaser, while Santhosh Narayanan makes his presence felt with a peppy soundtrack. Popular Malayalam actor Joju George, who was recently seen in a segment of Putham Puthu Kaalai Vidiyaatha, also makes an appearance towards the end of the teaser.

Buffoon's supporting cast includes Anthakudi Ilaiyaraja, Naren, Moonar Ramesh, Tamizh, and Adukalam Jeyabalan. Dinesh Purushothaman has shot the film. The makers are yet to lock a release date.
