The trailer of Atharvaa-starrer Kuruthi Aattam has been released. The film is directed by Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakal fame. Billed as a racy actioner set in a rural backdrop, it seems to be about the story of a bunch of youngsters who are trying to save a kid from local gangsters.

Priya Bhavani Shankar is paired with Atharvaa in the film. Radikaa Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Kanna Ravi and Vatsan essay other major roles. The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Dinesh Purushothaman, and editing by Anul Krish.

Kuruthi Aattam, which has seen multiple delays in release, is finally hitting screens this August 5.
