The makers of Dhanush-starrer Maaran have released the first video song. Titled Polladha Ulagam, it is a peppy dance number composed by GV Prakash.

Vivek has penned the lyrics while Dhanush and Arivu have lent their vocals.

Maaran directed by Karthick Naren is billed as an action-thriller. Dhanush and the female lead Malavika Mohan are reportedly playing journalists in the film.

Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat, Krishnakumar Balasubramanian, and Mahendran will be seen in supporting roles.

The film is produced by TG Thyagarajan, Sendhil Thyagarajan, and Arjun Thyagarajan through Sathya Jyothi Films.

While it has been announced that Maaran will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar, it is yet to get a steaming date.
