The makers of Vishal-starrer Veerame Vaagai Soodum have released the film's trailer. Directed by debutant Thu Pa Saravanan, the film has Vishal playing the role of a cop who locks horns with a host of baddies.

While Dimple Hayathi is paired with Vishal, Raveena Ravi plays another crucial part. Malayalam actor Baburaj essays the main antagonist's role. 

Titled Saamanyudu in Telugu, the film has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Kavin Raj. Vishal himself is producing the film.

Veeramae Vaagai Soodum was initially scheduled to hit the theatres on January 26 but later got preponed as a Pongal release on January 14. However, due to the spike in Covid cases, the makers were forced to put the release plans on hold.

Vishal, who was last seen in Enemy, has Laththi and Thupparivaalan 2 in the pipeline.
