The trailer of Putham Pudhu Kaalai Vidiyaadhaa was released on January 4 at a virtual launch event organized by Amazon Prime Video, India. The cast and crew members of the five anthologies presented the trailer. 

The trailer shows the characters of each anthology experience grief, love, kindness, and friendship. How the pandemic influences their lives and their relationships will be revealed in the anthology. 

The five directors featured in the anthology include Balaji Mohan, Halitha Shameem, Madhumita, Richard Anthony, and Surya Krishna. The actors featured in the anthology include Aishwarya Lekshmi, Arjun Das, Dhilip Subbarayan, Gouri G Kishan, Joju George, Lijomol Jose, Nadiya Moidu, Nirmal Pillai, Sananth, and TeeJay Arunasalam. 

The anthology is scheduled to be released on January 14, on the occasion of Pongal. This is the second edition of pandemic stories released by the streaming website after the 2020 film titled Putham Pudhu Kaalai.
