We had earlier reported about Arvind Swami and Malayalam actor Kunchacko Boban teaming up for a Tamil-Malayalam bilingual film. Titled Rendagam in Tamil, the film is directed by TP Fellini of Theevandi fame.

The makers have shared its teaser from which it looks like a fascinating cat and mouse thriller centered around the two leads -- an aging Arvind Swami and a curious Kunchacko Boban. The former seems to play the role of a gangster in the film.

Rendagam, titled Ottu in Malayalam, marks Arvind Swami's return to Malayalam cinema after 25 years. Fellini told us earlier that Ottu will have the main actors conversing in Tamil instead of dubbing their lines. The teaser, which has Kunchako Boban conversing in Tamil, confirms that.

The cast also includes Jackie Shroff, Eesha Rebba, Aadukalam Naren, and Deepti Sati.

The film has cinematography by Gautham Sankar and music by AH Kaashif. S Sanjeev has scripted the Malayalam version while the Tamil portions are written by Sasikumaran.

Rendagam is produced by actor Arya's August Cinemas and Show People.
