The teaser of Sarathkumar's maiden web series Irai has been released. Directed by Thoongavanam and Kadaram Kondan fame Rajesh M Selva, Irai is billed as an investigative thriller.

From the teaser, we can make out that Sarathkumar plays a sleuth who investigates a series of killings. However, it is not revealed anywhere that he is playing a cop's role.

Irai also stars Nizhalgal Ravi, Abishek Shankar, Sri Krishna Dayal, Gouri Nair, Shrisha, Sriranjani Prabhu, Rethika Srinivasan, and Vaanmadhi.

The series is based on the book Birds of Prey by Archana Sarat. Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan has written the additional story for screen.

Director Rajesh has penned the screenplay and dialogues along with Manoj Kumar Kalaivanan, Rajesh Manjunath, and Rajesh M Selva.

The series has music by Ghibran and cinematography by S Yuva. It will start streaming on the newly launched Aha Tamil on February 18.
