Gautham Vasudev Menon has shared a new single from his upcoming film, Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu starring Simbu. The song titled Marakuma Nenjam is sung and composed by AR Rahman. Thamarai has penned the lyrics.

While sharing the song, the director described it as a 4.18-minute capsule of goodness and soulfulness with captivating lyrics by Thamarai.

Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu, billed as an action-thriller, tells the story of street thugs in Mumbai. The film is scripted by Jeyamohan. The technical crew consists of Siddhartha Nuni as the cinematographer, with editing by Anthony.

Siddhi Idnani is the female lead while Raadika Sarathkumar, Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, and Aangelina Abraham will be seen essaying other prominent roles. The makers have announced September 15 as the release date.

Meanwhile, Silambarasan has Pathu Thala, and Corona Kumar in the pipeline.
