The trailer of Friendship has been released. Directed by John Paul Raj and Sham Surya, the film is set to hit screens on September 17. It stars cricketer Harbhajan Singh in the lead role while Bigg Boss-fame Losliya is making her acting debut. Action King Arjun and popular comedian Satish are also playing prominent roles.

Friendship is inspired by the Malayalam film Queen, which had a bunch of newcomers in the lead roles. The Tamil version has been tweaked slightly to suit the sensibilities of the native audience. The makers claim it to be an entertainer with a social message for all ages.

Produced by Toughened Studios Limited, the film has music by DM Udhaya Kumar while Santha Kumar C has served as the director of photography.

Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh will be seen playing a cameo in Santhanam's next, Dikkiloona, set to release the coming Friday on ZEE5, while Losliya has Google Kuttappan in her pipeline.
