The makers of Kamal Haasan's Vikram have unveiled the 'first glance' of the film, on the occasion of the actor's birthday tomorrow.
The 48-second-long promo starts with an emergency alarm sound, giving a callback to the iconic Viswaroopram transformation scene. It is followed by a gunfight between the good and bad guys, which includes notable faces like Narain. Finally, we see the man of the moment, Kamal Haasan revealing himself from a shield, as he leads a host of people to safety.
The main attractions of Vikram-Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil- aren't shown anywhere in the featurette. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial, co-starring Kalidas Jayaram and Shivani Narayanan, has music by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Girish Gangadharan. Vikram has been announced to hit the screens in April, next year.
The shooting of the film bankrolled by Kamal's Raaj Kamal International is progressing at a brisk pace. Apart from Vikram, Kamal has Shankar's Indian 2, waiting to be resumed. Lokesh, on the other hand, had announced Kaithi 2 a while ago, there is no clarity on when the film would go on floors.
