The teaser of the upcoming Zee5 film Blood Money starring Priya Bhavani Shankar was released on December 15. In the teaser, Priya Bhavani plays a journalist -- Rachel -- in the film and she attempts to stop an official execution from taking place in Kuwait. 

The film depicts the 30 hours before the said execution is supposed to take place. Can a journalist in Chennai, India stop a hanging that is scheduled to take place in Kuwait? From the teaser, it is apparent that she tries her best to change the fates of two men who face execution.

The families of the men who are on the death roll are seen grieving the news, but the reason behind this decision by the Kuwait government is not revealed. 

Blood Money is helmed by Sarjun KM who directed Etcharikai and Airaa before this. The film also stars Kishore and Shirish in important roles. This film slated to release on OTT will be available to stream from December 24.
