Ahead of the theatrical release of Ram's Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai the first three minutes of the film has been released online by the makers. The upcoming film opens in theatres on October 1.

The glimpse opens with a voiceover conversation between a woman and a young child, she is taking of, on a train, on the occasion of Diwali. The child, an orphan, wants to listen to a story because he is bothered by the fact that he does not have a family to celebrate the festival with, and hence is unable to sleep.

The caretaker begins with the story of a man sleeping on a treehouse, across seven hills, 300 years ago. She then introduces a man sleeping on a shack by a tempestuous coast, across the seven seas, 20 years ago. When the kid is frustrated at the introduction of two sleeping men, the caretaker introduces another sleeping man, this time sleeping at the last coach of the train the pair are travelling in. When the kid asks why such sleeping men are the main characters of the story, the caretaker reveals that all three men are the same person (Nivin Pauly). The man's immortality, as the caretaker describes, is similar to that of The Hulk. He is sleeping as he has been searching for a woman across centuries, and while couldn't find her in real life, he hopes to find her in his dreams. Just as the train departs from a station, a stranger (Soori) boards it...

The first three minutes were released on the official YouTube channel of Moviebuff Tamil. The cast of the film includes Nivin Pauly, Soori, and Anjali.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the background score and worked on the soundtrack. Meanwhile, Santhosh Dayanidhi has worked on the film's additional background score and the soundtrack.

The crew of the film also includes cinematographer NK Ekhambram, editor Mathi VS, production designer Umesh J Kumar, and action choreographer Stunt Silva.
