On Tuesday, Keerthy Suresh took to social media to share a note of gratitude to the audience for their appreciation of her latest film Dorothy and to the makers for making her a part of it. Sharing behind-the-scenes stills from the film, the actor wrote, "Dorothy took a little piece of my heart, and I hope I left a little piece of mine with you all. Karthik Subbaraj sir, thank you for trusting me with Dorothy and for making me a part of your vision so close to your heart. To be part of your dream project truly feels like a dream of my own."

Keerthy also said that she never imagined that she would have the good fortune to star in a film with music by Ilaiyaraaja. Speaking about it, she added, "It is something that I will treasure for a lifetime."

The actor revealed that she struck an "instant familiarity" with her co-stars Rishikanth and Sananth. "I will be one among your well-wishers and rooting for you always," the actor shared, referring to her co-actors. Keerthy's post comes at a time when Dorothy has been facing some scrutiny over its portrayal of an LGBTQ+ angle in the story. While there has been support for the film from critics and a section of the audience, some continue to question Karthik Subbaraj, Rishikanth and Sananth for the film.

Coming back to Keerthy Suresh's post, the actor also expressed her admiration for Dorothy cinematographer Thirunavukkarasu. "I have always admired your work, but this time I have fallen in love with it all over again," the actor shared about the cinematographer for the film.

The actor also shared her gratitude to her crew and producers before underscoring that she feels "proud to have been a part" of the film. "Last but never the least, thanks to our audience for all the love they have showered," the actor signed off.
