The new single from the Rajinikanth led Jailer 2's soundtrack, 'Bindass', has been released by the makers. A lyric video released simultaneously features dancer Nora Fatehi, who will be part of the film.

Anirudh has composed music for Jailer 2, making this his sixth time composing music for a Rajinikanth led film. 'Bindass' is written by Super Subu, and features the vocals of Anirudh and Deepthi Suresh. The song, echoing the style of 'Kaavalaa' from Jailer (2023). While Nora Fatehi is shown to be dancing to 'Bindass', throughout a palace, Rajinikanth appears for a few minutes within the song video, offering a hint at the song's appearance in the upcoming film.

Jailer 2 is written and directed by Nelson, and is set to open in theatres on October 15. The film is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner.

The cast of the film also includes Ramya Krishnan, Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu and Jaffer Saadiq, who reprise their characters from Jailer (2023). Vidya Balan, SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Bagavathi Perumal, Tamizh, Jatin Sarna, Meghana Raj Sarja and Bjorn Surrao, are also part of the upcoming sequel, among others.

The complete soundtrack from the film is set to be released post a 'rave' event, featuring performances from Anirudh.
