She later realised that he had called to check on her wellbeing. She also revealed that she is preparing to travel to Karaikudi for a film starring Prabhu and Suganya, in which she will play Prabhu’s mother.

The actor also revealed that she had recently completed the shooting of the television serial Karthigai Deepam. She recalled receiving several phone calls from people concerned about her wellbeing and said the affection shown by so many people made her happy. It was also reported that she thanked those who reached out and expressed surprise at the unnecessary worry caused by the false reports.

With a career spanning films such as Sigappu Rojakkal, Muthal Mariyathai and Arunachalam, besides several television serials, Vadivukkarasi has remained a recognisable presence across Tamil entertainment.
