Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Raju Jeyamohan's upcoming directorial debut, Almost Nallavan, has begun its second schedule of filming announced the makers. The upcoming film also stars Dushara Vijayan and Sathyaraj, alongside the director.

Almost Nallavan was announced in July and went on floors subsequently. It is now filming in Tenkasi. The upcoming film is director H Vinoth's first as a producer. He is producing under the Aspire Ubuntu banner, along with Sudhan Sundaram who is producing under his Passion Studios banner.

In an interview with CE, Raju described the film as, "a complete family entertainer that derives its levity from situations rather than chasing punchlines." He also asserted that the film would move away from punch based comedy to situation based comedy.

The crew of the film includes composer Foxn, director of photography TS Prasanna, editor Govindaraj, and art director Bala Jayapratha.

The upcoming film will be Raju's second time as a lead actor, having made his debut as a leading man with Bun Butter Jam (2025). Meanwhile, Dushara Vijayan was recently seen in Vishal's Magudam.
