The Soori led sports drama, Mandaadi, has crossed yet another milestone at the box office. The film has collected more than Rs 100 crores (gross) worldwide.

Mandaadi is written and directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, in his sophomore directorial venture. The film follows two rival teams of sail boat racing, who fight it out to be recognised as the official team of their village. Elred Kumar has produced the film under his RS Infotainment banner. He has also written for the film along with R Mohanavasanthan and Thiral Sankar.

The cast of the film also includes Suhas (in his Tamil debut), Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Shankar, Krish Hassan, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan, Ramachandran Durairaj, and Aadukalam Naren, among others.

GV Prakash Kumar has composed music for Mandaadi, which features lyrics by Pa Vijay, Jayashree Mathimaran, and Vaaheesan Rasaiya. The crew of the film includes cinematographer SR Kathir, editor Pradeep E Ragav, production designer DRK Kiran, with action choreographers Peter Hein, Dilip Subbarayan and Mahesh Mathew.
