Mandaadi crosses Rs 80 crore mark in worldwide box office collections

After a week in theatres, the Soori led sports drama Mandaadi, has crossed Rs 80 crores worldwide, in box office collections. The sports drama, also stars Suhas, known for his work in Telugu films like Colour Photo and Hit: The Second Case.

Mandaadi opened to positive reviews, and saw a continuous rise in collections, reaching its highest number on the fourth day of its theatrical run. It continued to have profitable collections throughout its first week.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 57.30 crores after 8 days at the office.

The cast of the film also includes Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Mithun Jai Shankar, Krish Hassan, Ravindra Vijay, Bala Saravanan, Ramachandran Durairaj, and Aadukalam Naren, among others.

Mandaadi follows the story of Muthukali (Soori), who is forced to return to his native coastal village, after 20 years in exile, to save the life of his friend's son, from brother-in-arms turned for, Sattapuli (Suhas).
