Premgi Amaren has been announced to star in an untitled crime thriller, alongside actor Bose Venkat. The actor returns in a full-fledged starring role with the upcoming untitled film, after 2025's Vallamai.

The upcoming film is directed by debutant C Ganesh Kumar, who has previously worked as an editor on Vallamai (2025). Speaking about the film, through a statement to the press, the director said, "The film is being crafted in a way that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats from beginning to end. Premgi Amaren will be seen in a role he has never portrayed before. Working with experienced actors like Bose Venkat has been a wonderful experience."

Also starring in lead roles are Sastik and Nayana Sai. While the film has already commenced production, it is expected to wrap soon.

With Ganesh also in charge of editing, the crew of the film includes cinematographer Sirpi Kumar and stunt choreographer SR Hari Murugan.

Lavanya Abhirami is producing the upcoming film under the Abhirami Productions banner.
