Sai Pallavi has spoken about the qualities she values in a relationship, stressing the importance of being a good person, reflecting on one’s actions and taking responsibility for mistakes.

The actor, who is gearing up for the release of Ramayana: Part 1, appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 18 with co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Ravi Dubey. The special episode saw host Amitabh Bachchan ask her about the qualities she would look for in a life partner.

Responding to the question, Sai said, “Pehle achche insaan hone chahiye” (Firstly, he should be a good person). She added that she would prefer someone who is not self-centred and is willing to examine his own behaviour. “He can make mistakes, but he must mend it too. It should not be that he is blaming it on someone else,” she said.

The actor explained that she did not have an extensive list of expectations, reiterating that being a good person was the priority. She also added a practical requirement with a touch of humour: “It would be better if he also knows how to cook!”

During the same episode, Sai Pallavi also spoke about her journey from studying medicine to becoming an actor. When Amitabh asked her about the transition, she said, “God wrote it that you act.” Ranbir added a humorous spin to her response, saying, “Bhagwan ka prescription tha Sir” (It was God’s prescription, sir), drawing laughter from the audience.

Sai will next be seen as Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part 1, which also stars Ranbir as Rama, Yash as Ravana and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 5. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari and backed by Namit Malhotra, the cast also includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman, Ravie Dubey as Lakshman, and Arun Govil as King Dasharatha, alongside Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, and Rakul Preet Singh in prominent roles.
