Jailer 2 box office day 14: After two weeks in theatres the Rajinikanth led Jailer 2 has almost crossed the Rs 500 crore mark at the Indian box office. Nelson has written and directed the film, which opened in theatres on October 15.

According to box office tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 6.55 crores (nett) on day 14 of its theatrical run. While a dip compared to the previous day collections, the film still continues its strong footing at the box office.

At the end of day 14, Jailer 2 has collected Rs 495 crores (gross) and Rs 423 crores (nett) in India. Meanwhile, the film has collected Rs 2.5 crores, overseas, on the 14th day. This brings the total overseas collection to Rs 265.50 crores (gross), making the total collection Rs 755.50 crores (gross).

Rajinikanth returns as Muthuvel Pandian, who, this time, has to unravel the larger idol smuggling syndicate behind Varman's (Vinayakan) gang, from Jailer (2023).

CE's review of the film reads, "If presenting Rajinikanth’s comic talents is already a win, Nelson goes one step further, establishing the actor’s emotional range and unmasking his superstardom."
