Actor Chandini Tamilarasan recently shared her experience participating in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 in an exclusive conversation with Cinema Express. Chandini is one of the few celebrities to be part of the Bigg Boss Tamil house in a format that features multiple contestants, blending public figures and commoners for the first time in the history of the show. This new format presented Chandini with a challenge on the show, hosted by Vijay Sethupathi, the actor revealed in the interview with CE.

“I think a lot of people did not like me because I was a heroine,” the actor said about her experience taking part in the Bigg Boss Tamil Season 10 house. She added, “There was some discourse among the contestants about how well I dress, and I could feel that some did not like it.”

Chandini also revealed that many contestants mentioned her name when the presence of a heroine was broached in a particular task on the show. “My name was mentioned for my benefit, but it only backfired. I do not know why,” the actor shared about her bitter Bigg Boss experience.

However, Chandini also added that she approached her participation in the show with no ego of being an actress. “When I got into the show, I viewed everyone as equals. Not even for a second did I think about my heroine status. I did my best and I was good to everybody, which is how I am,” Chandini noted before adding that she was up for every task in the show, whether it involved doing the dishes or cleaning the restroom.

The actor also shared that her extroverted personality might have put some of the other contestants off. “I go speak to everyone, without waiting for them to come to me. Seeing this might have caused some disturbance to them, but it did not affect me. I was just being myself,” the actor explained.
