Recently, actor Sivakarthikeyan met the key team members behind the hit wedding comedy Modha Rathri, including director Raja Karuppasamy and actors Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar.

After Raja Karuppasamy and Rishikanth, Anishma also shared stills from her recent meeting with Sivakarthikeyan and her thoughts about him. Taking to Instagram, the actor wrote, referring to Sivakarthikeyan, "The girl who watched your movies on repeat in 12th grade, sitting at home with a fractured leg, would never believe how calm I was trying to look yesterday."

Anishma Anilkumar savoured her opportunity to finally come face to face with an actor whom she has grown an admiration for from his early-career films. Speaking about it, she added, "Never felt this nostalgic in my life. My mind went straight back to 2013. From watching Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam on Kalaignar TV, and Paakadhe Paakadhe on Sun Music yesterday I finally met you. You are an inspiration to everyone who dares to dream."

For the unversed, 'Paakaadhae Paakaadhae' is a popular song from Sivakarthikeyan's 2013 film Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

Expressing her gratitude to her "inspiration," Anishma shared his one piece of encouragement for her: "You should keep making an effort."

Coming back to Modha Rathri, the film follows Anishma and Rishikanth's newlyweds. On the first night of their marriage, each of them realises that they have entered a relationship that they did not want in the first place. When she makes another revelation to him, however, it puts him in a difficult spot and forces him to make a decision.

Modha Rathri hit theatres on August 21 and received positive reviews from audiences and critics. It had its digital premiere on Netflix on September 18 and has since been receiving even greater appreciation from audiences and film fraternity members.
