Actor Jyotika has written a note wishing debut filmmaker Jason Sanjay, son of former actor and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, ahead of the release of his heist thriller Sigma. The film, led by Sundeep Kishan, is releasing on October 2.
In her post, Jyotika wrote, "My heartfelt wishes for Sigma. Been watching your promotions with so much joy. Seeing the young man you've grown into, so mature, composed, real, and above all the finest son to your parents, tells me you deserve every bit of the success coming your way. Wishing you and the whole team a wonderful release. May God bless you always. With love, Jyotika." (sic)
Jyotika has starred alongside Vijay in films like Kushi (2000) and Thirumalai (2003). Notably, Suriya also wished Jason on his debut.
Sigma revolves around a heist targeting the operations of the crime boss, Kotlapadi Veeraiya Reddy (Sampath Raj). The film’s cast also includes Faria Abdullah, Raju Sundaram, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, and Kiran Konda, among others.
Music for the film is composed by Thaman, with the soundtrack featuring lyrics by Vivek and Super Subu. The crew of the film includes director of photography Krishnan Vasant, editor Praveen KL, art director Benjamin M, and action choreographers Venkat and Silva.
