The long-delayed film Moondram Kan, headlined by Kalaiyarasan, Santhosh Pratap and Vidharth, is finally all set to hit theatres. The hyperlink crime thriller, helmed by Sago Ganesan, was first announced back in June 2023.
Apart from the abovementioned actors, Moondram Kan has an ensemble cast including John Vijay, Teju Ashwini, Trigun, Athulya Chandra, Shwetha Dorathy, and Sundara Travels-fame Radha.
Moondram Kan is all set to open in theatres on June 12. Talking about the film's plot, director Sago Ganesan said in an earlier conversation with CE, "The general manager of a factory is murdered, and four workers, namely, a mechanic, the assistant manager, the owner and a new recruit, are the primary suspects. One of them is the actual murderer."
Sago, an erstwhile associate of P Vasu and Thankar Bachan, also mentioned that John Vijay will essay the role of the general manager, while Vidharth, Trigun, Kalaiyarasan and Teju Ashwini essay the roles of the factory workers.
With NS Uthayakumar cranking the camera, R Ramar is handling the edit while RS Rajprathap is the music composer. Trending Entertainment and White Horse Studios are backing Moondram Kan. Upon release, the film will face the box office alongside Pandiraaj's Parimala and Co, starring Urvashi and Jayaram in lead roles.
