Recently, we reported about Naslen starring in a key role in Suriya's 47th film, directed by Jithu Madhavan of Romancham and Aavesham fame. Production on the film, which also stars Nazriya Nazim in an important role, is underway. It marks the Tamil debuts of both Jithu Madhavan and Naslen. Recently, Naslen spoke about his experience working on the film.
Talking to Asianet News, Naslen said, "I was very tense about how to handle Tamil. However, it was quite comfortable on set. I had all the help necessary to perform on set."
Regarding the production status, the actor added, "The shoot is in progress, and it might continue till the end of June. I am enjoying that process quite a lot, especially with it being my Tamil debut. Suriya sir complimented me for my delivery of Tamil dialogues."
Naslen also denied a speculation about whether the film has a fight sequence featuring Suriya and a Mohanlal song in the background.
"I do not know about that," the actor said about the speculation before adding that they might have shot it while he was away, working on Amal Neerad's next film.
As reported earlier, Naslen's upcoming films include Mollywood Times, which brings him back together with his Premalu co-star Sangeeth Prathap. Directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak of Mukundan Unni Associates fame, Mollywood Times is set for a June 05 release in theatres. The actor is reportedly part of Amal Neerad's Bachelor Party D’eux, co-starring Soubin Shahir. His upcoming projects include Tiki Taka, co-starring Asif Ali, and Tharun Moorthy's Torpedo, alongside Fahadh Faasil and Arjun Das, among others. A Premalu sequel, starring him alongside Mamitha Baiju, is also on the cards.
Coming back to Suriya 47, it is speculated that the film stars the actor as a cop as the head of a police squad that reflects his unconventional personality.
