Ken Karunaas's Youth crosses Rs 50 crores worldwide

Youth opened in theatres on March 19, collecting strongly on its opening day, and is performing consistently

After 11 days in theaters, Ken Karunaas' debut directorial, Youth, has collected over Rs 50 crores, wordwide, announced the makers. The comedy drama opened alongside Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Ustaad Bhagat Singh.

Taking to his X account, Ken wrote, "Thank you so much for this love and support. Forever grateful to each and everyone."

Meanwhile, through his X handle, producer Karuppiah C Ram, wrote, "Grateful beyond words. Grateful for the footfalls and love that created this number. Thank you all."

The film follows the story of Praveen (Ken Karunaas) and his journey through the final years of his school days, as he navigates complex romantic situations, and chaotic family dynamics.

The cast of the film includes Anishma Anilkumar, Devadarshini, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Priyanshi Yadav, Meenakshi Dinesh and Abison Thevarasa. Producing Youth under the Paarvathaa Entertainments banner is Karuppiah C Ram.

Music for Youth has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar, who has worked on films starring Ken, like Asuran (2019) and Vaathi (2023).
