GV Prakash Kumar talks about wanting to work with Vijay Sethupathi

GV Prakash Kumar's Happy Raj, and Vijay Sethupathi's Muthu Engira Kaattaan opened on Friday (March 27)

GV Prakash Kumar and Vijay Sethupathi are two tamil creatives who have a wide list of collaborators, with whom they have worked on multiple projects. Yet they haven't worked together on a project yet.

In a recent interview with CE ahead of the release of his next project, Happy Raj, GV Prakash said, "Even I wish for that to happen. He is very close to me. We speak once a week. But unfortunately we haven't gotten an opportunity to work with him yet."

When asked about Vijay Sethupathi's recent remarks that GV Prakash Kumar could portray a school kid, the latter said, "He is very magnanimous. He said that with love." Happy Raj director Maria Raja Elanchezian interjected and said, "There was a portion which was set in a school. But we removed that."

While GV Prakash Kumar will be seen alongside Sri Gouri Priya, George Maryan, and Abbas, among others in Happy Raj, Vijay Sethupathi's Muthu Engira Kaattaan premiered on JioHotstar on the same day as Happy Raj's release, March 27.
