Actor-music composer GV Prakash Kumar will return to the silver screen with the upcoming comedy drama, Happy Raj. The film, directed by debutant Maria Raja Elanchezhian, is set to open in theatres on March 27.

Ahead of the film's release, the actor spoke about his experience in working on the film, in an exclusive conversation with CE. "The energies what we had in the film is so positive. The magic of the director was making us believe in the film. Even though he is a debutant director, he convinced us into believing that this is going to work, and that this film is for us," said the actor.

Speaking about the director's method of working, GV Prakash said, "The director shoots every scene with the ADs and then shows it to me. So performing that with mixing my own touch created a magic of its own."

While the actor maintains a positive approach to the film, he also talks about inviting challenges with the same positive manner. "Everything depends upon timing. When you combine timing with emotions, working with both results in a good challenge."

When asked about the fact that the comments on Happy Raj's trailer mentioned his co-star Adhirchi Arun, he quipped, "Adhirchi's fake IDs flooded the comments. But he is a very sweet, positive, and a good man. I want to work more with him."

Teasing the film the actor said, "There is definitely a lot more to the film than the trailer. What we have shown in the trailer is nothing compared to what the film consists of. You haven't seen anything yet."

The cast of the film also features Sri Gouri Priya, Abbas, George Maryan, Geetha Kailasam, Adhirchi Arun, Madurai Muthu, and Devi Mahesh, among others.
