Vijay Sethupathi, who was last seen in the silent film Gandhi Talks, has revealed details about his upcoming film with Mani Ratnam.
In an interview with Baradwaj Rangan, Vijay Sethupathi said that Mani Ratnam is a very fast filmmaker, and it takes effort to comprehend his script. "Mani sir is a fast filmmaker. After signing the project, I requested him to call me whenever he is free for a script reading session. That is how I could understand it. He is solely focused on his work."
The actor weeks earlier shared that he will reunite with the director after their 2018 multistarrer Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, which starred Prakash Raj, Arvind Swamy, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Silambarasan TR, Thiagarajan, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Aditi Rao Hydari.
Vijay Sethupathi, meanwhile, will next be seen in the JioHotstar web series Muthu Engira Kaattaan, set for a premiere on March 27. The series reunites Vijay Sethupathi with director M Manikandan after Aandavan Kattalai (2016) and Kadaisi Vivasayi (2022). Manikandan serves as the creator of Muthu Engira Kaattaan.
The actor will also be seen in Thiagarajan Kumararaja's Pocket Novel and Vetri Maaran-Silambarasan TR's Arasan. His film with Mysskin, Train, awaits a release.
