More than a month after its theatrical release, Anupama Parameswaran's Lockdown is now available to stream on Prime Video. The film, helmed by AR Jeeva, was postponed multiple times before finally releasing in theatres on January 30 and opening to underwhelming reviews. On the streaming platform, the film can be watched in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

It may be recalled that the film's release had been postponed at least twice before. The release of the film, which was originally scheduled to happen on December 5 last year, was postponed the first time due to incessant rains caused by Cyclone Ditwah. When it was scheduled to release for December 12, it was pushed once again, citing "unforeseen circumstances".

The trailer revealed Anupama battling her own demons and unprecedented circumstances during the peak of the coronavirus lockdown in the state. The film promises to deliver a gripping story of how Anupama's character finds a way out of her miseries amidst a global crisis.

Lockdown also stars Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Saba Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh and Asha. The film is backed by Lyca Productions.

The film was premiered at the recent 56th International Film Festival of India, which was held in Goa. On the technical team, Lockdown has music by NR Raghunanthan and Siddharth Vipin, cinematography by KA Sakthivel, editing by VJ Sabu Joseph, and art direction by A Jayakumar.
