Vowels trailer: Five tales exploring love that’s complex yet essential

Vowels stars Chinni Jayanth and Yugi Sethu in the lead roles and is set to hit theatres on March 13

Five directors have come together to narrate five different, complex stories of love, tied together by characters played by Yugi Sethu and Chinni Jayanth in Vowels, the trailer of which was unveiled on Tuesday.

The trailer shows five different love stories that come with their own mess, chaos, conflicts, drama and romance. Yugi Sethu's and Chinni Jayanth's characters seem to play narrators who explain the complexities yet essentiality of love.

Describing the title of the film, the makers have named every story in this hyperlink film after the vowel letters. A – Attraction, E – Emotion, I – Intimacy, O – Obsession, U – Unconditional.

Dhilip Kumar, Hemanth Kumar, Sangeeth, Santhosh Ravi, and Jagan Rajendran have helmed the five films in the Vowels anthology, which has a tagline that reads, "An Atlas of Love". The film also stars Raj Ayyappa, Samyuktha Vishwanathan, Nandu, Deepak Paramesh, Kajal Choudhary, Peter K, Sharath Ravi, Akshitha Bopaiah, Priyanka Chandrashekar, Bharath Bopanna, and Vijetha Vashitha, among others.

Backed by Raju Sheregar of the Riddhi Siddhi Films banner, Vowels will have cinematography by Keerthan Poojaary and Sandeep Aluri, editing by Harish Komme and music by Sarvanaa Subramaniam. One of the directors, Dhilip and Yugi Sethu, have penned the dialogues for the film.

Vowels is gearing up to open in theatres on March 13.
