On Monday, the fourth instalment to the Pizza films series, Pizza 4, was announced by the makers. The upcoming film will be written by CV Kumar who is producing the film under his Thirukumaran Entertainment banner.
Pizza 4 is directed by Sreesh Vijay, who is adapting a script from the producer with dialogues by Yogaraj K. Sivakumar is serving as an executive producer on the upcoming project. CV Kumar has backed all films part of the franchise.
Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Prajin is headlining the cast of Pizza 4, alongside social media influencer Hussain, among others.
The crew of the film includes cinematographer Hariharan Anandharajah, editor PK, and production designer Vignesh.
Pizza (2012) is Karthik Subbaraj's directorial debut project, which he also wrote. The film starred Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan in the lead. The film spawned two more sequels, Pizza II: The Villa (2013), which stars Ashok Selvan, and Pizza 3: The Mummy, which was headlined by Ashwin Kakumanu.
