Actor-cinematographer Natty has issued a strong warning to those who troll and abuse him on social media. Taking to his X handle, he sternly reacted, "If any uses abusive language.. I'll repeat as they wish (sic)." In yet another post, he emphasised the same, giving an ultimatum to those who indulge in the behaviour. "Last call.. If anyone abuses me, I'll abuse u back. No matter what happens," he wrote, courting controversy and triggering debates online.
The controversy appears to have stemmed from his recent film TN 2026, a political satire in which he plays Kulkanth Kumar, a superstar actor navigating a rise in the political arena. Directed by Umapathy Ramaiah, the film drew strong reactions online even before its release, with many viewers interpreting its themes as a satire of Vijay's entry into politics. While the makers denied the same, the film OTT release, reignited debates with many criticising its storyline.
Natty retorting to abusers had also not gone down well with many users, who criticised his actions.
On the work front, Natty was recently seen in Karuppu as Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rajanayagam. Directed by RJ Balaji, the Suriya-starrer was a major commercial success at the box office and has premiered on OTT platform Prime Video.
Earlier this year, Natty was also seen in Mohan G's Draupathi 2 and Vemal's Vadam.
