The makers of CM Joseph Vijay's son Jason Sanjay's directorial debut, titled Sigma, dropped the first single from the film on social media through Dulquer Salman earlier this Thursday. Expressing his happiness about launching it, Dulquer wrote, "Sending my best wishes to dear Jason Sanjay and the entire team for a successful release and an incredible journey ahead."

Titled 'Sigma Style,' it is a rap number with plenty of energetic beats. Besides composing the song, Thaman S has also sang it with Smile Tupakeys and Mc Rude. A Telugu version of the song is also available on YouTube.

The song video features Jason Sanjay dancing to the peppy tunes with actors Sundeep Kishan and Faria Abdullah, among others. The film also stars Raju Sundaram, Sampath Raj, Shiv Panditt, Anbu Thasan, Yog Japee, Magalakshmi, Sheela Rajkumar, Kamalesh, and Kiran Konda.

Sigma is directed by Jason from a screenplay he has written with Kaleel Raja, Sanjeev S, and Ajaiy Ashok. The film is produced by Subaskaran under his Lyca Productions banner. Its technical team includes editor Praveen KL, cinematographer Krishnan Vasant, as well as stunt choreographers Venkat and Silva.

According to the makers, it is a "high-stakes heist" film, offering a combination of action, humour, heist, and treasure-hunt elements. Production on Sigma has been wrapped in locations such as Chennai, Thalakona, Thailand, and Salem.

The film is slated for a July 31 release in theatres. It is still awaiting censor certification, much like Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan. Meanwhile, here is a link to the song video:
