Music composer Siddhu Kumar, known for his work in films like Sivappu Manjal Pachai, Joe and Aaromaley, recently opened up about his next work as a composer, Dayangaram. The film marks the directorial debut of popular YouTube VJ Siddhu.

Siddhu Kumar exclusively spoke to CE in an interview for his independent single, 'Kirukku Sirukki', featuring VJ Maheshwari. The interview also featured Aaromaley director Sarang Thiagu, who directed the song video.

Having watched the film, Siddhu Kumar confidently said, "Dayangaram will have a fun takeaway. Just as Karuppu was entertaining, this film will also be fun-filled and enjoyable. I have watched the film and am currently working on the background score."

On VJ Siddhu's acting, he continued, "He has performed really well. You can see his transition from vlog-making to film acting, and we will enjoy watching him on the big screen. The film has flavours that cater to all kinds of audiences, be they rural or urban."

Further, Sarang Thiagu chimed in to say, "I heard one song from the film, and it was really good. Siddhu has been doing love songs back-to-back. But in this, he has done a commercial song." Siddhu added, "I have gotten an opportunity to do something contrasting from my previous songs in this film."

Apart from VJ Siddhu, Natty Subramaniam also plays a lead role in Dayangaram. Recently VJ Siddhu confirmed a cameo appearance by actor-politician Namitha. Ishari Ganesh is producing the film under the Vels Film International banner. Previously, the producer revealed that the film will be based on VJ Siddhu's life story.

Apart from music by Siddhu Kumar, the film will also feature cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The film's first schedule was wrapped in November 2025. Details about the film's extended cast, plot, genre, and release date are awaited.
