Some of the team members of director Venky Atluri's upcoming film Vishwanath and Sons recently met and hanged out. Thus, actor-dubbing artist Raveena Ravi happened to meet Suriya after a long time. It is worth noting that Raveena's mother, also an actor and dubbing artist, Sreeja Ravi, is also part of the film's cast.
Sharing pictures from her meeting with the Vishwanath and Sons star on social media, Raveena wrote, referring to the lead actor's iconic dialogue from Vaaranam Aayiram, "Suriya sir , Naan idha soliye aaganum, neenga avlo azhagu ! (Suriya sir, I must say this, you are that handsome!"
Expressing her pleasure in meeting the actor after a long time, Raveena said, "He’s just the same humble , sweet star. Thank you for the warm hospitality sir!"
The actor cum dubbing artist also shared a throwback picture featuring her and her mother with Suriya from the set of his 2003 film, Kaakha Kaakha. She added, "So happy my Amma is part of this beautiful film! Wishing the best to the entire team of Vishwanath and Sons."
Raveena recently got married to filmmaker Devan Jayakumar, known for helming the 2023 film Valatty. Devan, too, can be seen in the pictures she shared on social media.
Coming back to Vishwanath & Sons, the upcoming film also stars Mamitha Baiju, Radikaa Sarathkumar and Raveena Tandon in important roles. It brings back Raveena Tandon to Tamil cinema for the first time after 2001's Aalavandhan, starring Kamal Haasan in a dual role. In a recent conversation with Galatta Plus, director Venky Atluri revealed that Vishwanath & Sons is primarily a Tamil film that is also dubbed in Telugu.
The film also stars Nasser, Sudha, Kalyani Natarajan, Raghu Babu, Sunil Reddy, Rajiv Menon, Bhavani Sri, Viva Harsha, Kaali Venkat, George Maryan, Hyper Aadhi, and Sarvadaman Banerjee
