Two hit filmmakers are soon expected to join hands. Director Chella Ayyavu, who is currently basking in the success of his latest film Gatta Kusthi 2 with Vishnuu Vishal, is soon expected to join hands with actor-turned-filmmaker Ken Karunaas for his next. According to reports, the duo will soon be collaborating for a comedy entertainer for their maiden film together.

Ken Karunaas, known for his roles in hit films like Asuran and Vaathi, recently made his directorial debut with Youth. A comedy entertainer, the film starred himself in the lead role along with Anishma Anilkumar, Meenakshi Dinesh, and Priyanshi Yadav as the female leads. The film was a commercially successful venture at the box office and was received well by audiences and critics. Also featuring Suraj Venjaramoodu and Devadarshini, Youth earned over Rs 70 crore. The film's songs, composed by GV Prakash, was also a major hit on social media and other platforms. Now, the actor is currently working on a pivotal role in Vetri Maaran's Rajan Vagaiyara, a spin-off from Vada Chennai. Pictures from the shoot was recently shared widely. Following that film, it is said that his film with Chella Ayyavu will commence.

Meanwhile, director Chella Ayyavu's Gatta Kusthi 2 is inching towards the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide despite stiff competition from other films and is continuing to draw audiences to theatres. On Friday, Vishnuu Vishal gifted him a brand new Toyota Hycross car, fulfilling a pre-release promise in recognition of the film's blockbuster performance.
