Bigg Boss Tamil-fame Raju is set to write, direct, and star in Almost Nallavan. The upcoming film will also star Dushara Vijayan and Sathyaraj in the lead.
The shoot for the film began with a pooja ceremony which was attended by filmmakers Adhik Ravichandran and RJ Balaji. Almost Nallavan is produced by H Vinoth under his Aspire Ubuntu Films banner along with Sudhan Sundaram who produces under his Passion Studios banner.
The composer duo Foxn is on board Almost Nallavan, after making their debut with the Jayaram-Urvashi headliner Parimala and Co. Foxn is also composing music for Love Oh Love, which stars NEEK-fame Pavish and Selvaraghavan. Love Oh Love is set to open in theatres on July 9.
The crew of Almost Nallavan also includes director of photography TS Prasanna, editor R Govindaraj, art director Bala Jayapratha, and stunt choreographer Om Prakash.
Almost Nallavan is the directorial debut of Raju who was last seen in Bun Butter Jam.
