Recently, actor Aravind Akash, known for his roles in Tamil and Malayalam cinema, tied the knot in a ceremony held in Kuala Lumpur. According to reports, the couple got engaged earlier this year.
Alongside his family and friends, some personalities from Tamil cinema also attended the ceremony. Some of the notable attendees are director Venkat Prabhu and actor Vaibhav. It is worth noting that Aravind starred in most of the Venkat Prabhu films, including Chennai 600028, Goa, Saroja, Mankatha, Biriyani, Massu Engira Masilamani, Chennai 600028 II, Maanaadu, and The Greatest of All Time. On the other hand, Vaibhav also starred in some of the aforementioned films. Vaibhav shared a selfie with the couple and wished them on the new journey together.
In Malayalam cinema, Aravind Akash is best known for his role in the Prithviraj Sukumaran-Navya Nair starrer Nandanam as Lord Krishna. His Malayalam credits also include Koottu, Wanted, Vajram, Ponmudipuzhayorathu, Mummy and Me, and Prajapathi. Recently, he played a cameo role in the Prithviraj-Basil Joseph starrer Guruvayoorambala Nadayil, where he reprised his role from Nandanam.
Reportedly, Aravind and his wife have been in a relationship for a long time now. They can be seen together in social media posts dating back to 2025 February. On his birthday in 2025 and this year, she posted photographs of the two and wished him. In this year's birthday post, she wrote, "Life with you is the greatest gift I've ever received."
Aravind has not been seen in a film since The Greatest of All Time, the 2024 Vijay starrer. In television, he last played a character named in Major Sivaraman in a program called Vinodhini.
